Similar to Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey, there are a few romance options in Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla. Unlike games like The Witcher, romancing companions in AC: Valhalla is fairly straightforward. However, some romantic interactions in the game have story implications – those are explained below. In this guide, we’ve detailed all the romance options that you can engage yourself in Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla.
Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla Romance Options
There are a total of 3 potential romances that we’ve managed to find in ACV. Depending on whether you’re playing as a female or male Eivor, there are same-sex options. Below, you’ll find a complete list of all the sex interactions in ACV, how to unlock them, and choices you need to make:
Petra
Romance Requirement: Building the Hunter’s Hut
To build the Hunter’s Hut, you’ll need to reach Settlement Level 2. This requires a lot of supplies and raw materials that can be earned by raiding. After building the Hunter’s Hut, speak to Petra to unlock the Legendary Animal hunts. There are 10 Legendary Hunts in total and all of them must be completed to initiate romance with Petra. After you’re done with all the Legendary Hunts, you’ll be able to take Petra on a date where you’ll compete against her in archery. Try to land as many shots as you can and you’ll successfully romance her.
Broder
Romance Requirement: Liberating East Anglia
This is a fairly straightforward romance interaction. After the entire East Anglia quest, you’ll attend the wedding ceremony of King Oswald and Valdis. During the ceremony, go to the large feast table to find Broder. If you agree to his proposition, you must call by his correct name i.e. Broder, and not by his brother’s name, Brothir.
Randvi
Romance Requirement: Complete 3 Pledges on the Alliance Map
You’ll find Randvi near the Alliance Table in Ravensthorpe. In order to romance Randvi, you must complete three of her pledge quests. After completing the quests, you’ll get the option of taking a walk with her which will lead to a romantic interaction.
Before you initiate romance with Randvi, however, remember that doing so will invoke a Sigurd Strike. If you manage to get 3 Sigurd Strikes in ACV, he’ll betray you in the end and leave you. It’s entirely your call whether you want to take the risk or not.
