Opal is one of the rarest resources that you are going to find in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. It can be used in trading to get different items. These items include cosmetics for your character and decorations for your settlement. In this Assassin’s Creed Valhalla guide, we are going to go over how you can get Opal in the game and where you can spend it.

How To Get Opal In Assassin’s Creed Valhalla

When you progress through the game, Reda is going to set up a shop in your settlement. This will allow you to connect to a network where you can spend Opal and trade it to get valuable items that you cannot get from anywhere else in the game. The items that are up for sale never stay the same and change daily, so they are worth checking out from time to time.

Interact With Reda

When you first talk to Reda you will get 50 Opals so that you can see what trading is like. After that, you need to get it on your own.

You can also complete contracts for Reda which will reward you with Opal that you can then spend. Talk to Reda in order to start a contract. These are time-specific missions that you need to complete in order to get Opal as the reward. These change from time to time and the time is mentioned under each contract. So when they are refreshed you can pick up some more and farm Opal as much as you want. Daily contracts reward you with 5 Opals while weekly contracts reward you with 20.

Exploration

You can get Opal by exploring the world. You will sometimes find small amounts of Opal while you roam around. You can send out your Raven to look for Opal on the map as well. The world has a finite number of opal that you can pick up and they do not respawn.

Once you have unlocked the Thousand-Eyes network, you will find representatives of it in the major cities. You can then interact with them to see what they have in store. So you do not have to return to your settlement each time you want to check what is up for grabs.

Note that these items are optional and are not tied to the progression. But some of the gear pieces can be very helpful, so they are worth checking out.
