Megachelon is one of the tameable creatures in the latest expansion of ARK: Survival Evolved, ARK Genesis. It’s a fairly easy tame that requires you to keep your distance and stick close to Megachelon. This guide will help you learn everything you need to know about how to find and tame Megachelon in ARK Genesis.
ARK Genesis Tame Megachelon
The first thing that you need to do is to look for a Parakeet Fish School or Microbes. After you see it targeting you, try to get close to a Megachelon but don’t get too close. As long as these Microbes continue to swim after a Megachelon, the taming bar will continue to increase. You’ll also need to ensure that the Megachelon doesn’t take any damage as it’ll also reset the taming progress.
To prevent it from happening, you should try to stay a little close (not too close though) and continue to kill all the Megalodons in the nearby vicinity. You should also keep in mind that if you take any damage while trying to do so will also reset the progress made.
Megachelon Tips and Tricks
When tamed, you’ll be able to build on top of Megachelon’s shell along with the ability to grow rare resources on it. However, you’ll have to be careful while equipping/removing the saddle because it can destroy the structures on its back. It’ll also produce 40 Rare Flowers and 40 Rare Mushrooms in its inventory every now and then.
Megachelon in ARK Genesis also has an incredibly large HP pool allowing it to bypass dangers coming toward it.
