One of the easiest ways of earning loads of Bells in Animal Crossing: New Horizons is by trading Turnips. In this guide, I’ll go over things like buying Turnips at low prices, selling them for a profit, and some general tips and tricks.
Animal Crossing: New Horizons Turnips Trading
To get started, you’ll have to wait for Daisy Mae to arrive on your island on Sundays – from 05:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Do note that you’ll need to have Nook’s Cranny for Daisy Mae to appear. You can refer to our detailed guide to learn all about it.
After he arrives, you’d want to buy Turnips from him at the lowest possible prices. The prices are ever fluctuating but as a general rule of thumb, you never want to buy them for over 100 Bells. Once bought, you’ll have to sell them in under a week, otherwise, they’ll rot and all your investment will go down the drain.
Now coming to selling them, Timmy and Tommy are your go-to guys for that. You can sell your purchased Turnips throughout the entire week except on Sundays. It’s also important to note that selling prices also fluctuate so try to check daily for the best possible price. It’s a general consensus that players get the best selling prices on Tuesday and Wednesday.
