While the Revolver that you can get early in the game is capable enough, sometimes you need to pack some extra punch. That is where the Shotgun comes in. You might have collected a lot of Shotgun Ammo as you progressed through the Bunker without any sight of the actual gun. We are here to change that! Amnesia: The Bunker Shotgun
The way you get the Shotgun depends on which playthrough of the game you are on. On your first playthrough, you will need to do a bit of legwork but it is exponentially easier on subsequent playthroughs.
First Playthrough
While on your first playthrough, you will need to progress until you reach The Tunnels. You will find this area past Storage Area C in Arsenal. You will also need the Cutters from the cellblock in Prison. Use these to enter Storage Area C.
You will notice the entire area flooded with water. To drain the area, you will need to activate a pump on the left-side of the door and then pull a lever on the other end. Once the area is drained, continue through the newly-opened path until you come across a hole leading to The Tunnels.
Keep on progressing through The Tunnels until you are able to dropdown into the lower area. Once you are down, you will need to break a wooden door with a grenade or something to come across the Unstable Soldier. A couple of rounds from your Revolver should be more than enough to put him to rest. But more importantly, he will drop the Shotgun which you can collect for the Canonnier trophy.
Second Playthrough
It is so much easier to get the Shotgun in consequent playthroughs. You will find it carefully placed inside a locker with the name A. Fortin. To open the locker, however, you will need his Dog Tag. To find it, you will need to head inside the Communications Door in the Soldier Quarters.
