AC Mirage encourages players to explore and find new weapons and outfits. You could stick to the default options, but you will be rewarded for exploration with better gear. The Zanj Uprising outfit can be found early on in AC Mirage, and in this guide, I cover where you can find it.
Where To Find The Zanj Uprising Outfit In AC Mirage
The Zanj Uprising Outfit can be found in the Upper Harbor in Harbiyah in Assassin’s Creed Mirage. You will come to this location pretty early on during a main story mission called Catact the Rebels. During this you will need to talk to Beshi and then help you rescue his crew.
During this mission, you can find the chest with the Zanj Uprising Outfit inside it on the big ship that is docked in the harbor. The large ship is hard to miss and will be right in front of you as you approach the upper harbor after talking to Bashi. You can use your eagle to pinpoint its location without getting close.
This is a restricted area, so the guards will attack you if you are detected. Be stealthy and avoid getting caught since you can easily be overwhelmed by the number of guards here.
Outfit Modifiers
The outfit of the Zanj rebel reduces the impact of illegal actions on Basim’s notoriety by 20%. You can upgrade the outfit to reduce the effects by up to 40%. This can be rather helpful and allow you to get away with a lot of things and not be hunted down by guards.
For the first upgrade, you will need the upgrade schematic, 30 Steel Ingot,s and 60 Leather.
Where To Find Zanj Uprising Outfit Upgrade Schematic
The Zanj Uprising outfit upgrade schematic can be found relatively early on in AC Mirage. You will come across it during the mission “Follow Nur’s Lead”. During the mission, you will head into the Khurasan Gate Guardhouse (Harbiyah), where you need to discover Ali’s whereabouts.
You will find the Zanj Uprising outfit upgrade schematic on the rooftop. If you used the haystack towards the right of the two guards to eavesdrop on them, then you can climb the wall on your right to get to the roof. You can use your eagle to pinpoint the location. The chest will be highlighted golden.
Some objects do block your path to the chest, so you will need to break them to make way. A throwing knife will come in handy for objects that are not in melee range.
